About the Volunteer Opportunity
O4O would like an iPad tutor, to do a basic iPad class with older people once a week on a Thursday from 1pm -2.30pm. O4O were lucky to get funding to buy new iPads and have 8 available. There may be a few more at the class but they can share we would be able to provide a meal each week for the volunteer.
About the Organisation
O4O Cookstown Ltd is an independent registered charity covering Mid Ulster Council area working to improve people’s quality of life. The Project works with the local community to help maintain people living independently in their communities for as long as possible by:
- Developing existing community resources
- Facilitating older people to help each other
- Using their skills, experience and knowledge
- Building on their capacity for innovation, action, enterprise and voluntary activity
