Employer Supported Volunteering
Giving back to your community as a business is becoming increasingly important. Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre promotes Employer Supported Volunteering through which companies support and encourage their employees in voluntary activities within the local community. We can organise simple one-off or regular events for a small or large number of your employees.
Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) creates opportunities for employees to become involved and get recognition for volunteering through their work. Employers give workers time off to volunteer in their communities. The arrangement enhances the employer’s standing in the community, creates team spirit among the workforce and provides much appreciated services to community groups.
Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre promotes ESV to employers and works with community organisations to identify suitable tasks. See below a few examples of local groups and companies getting involved with their local community.
