About the Volunteer Opportunity

Epilepsy Action Community Champions are at the heart of helping to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. They offer support and visibility at a local level, from fundraising to awareness raising and will help Epilepsy Action to achieve these goals. The Community Champion Volunteers in Northern Ireland have three main roles:

  • Helping to raise awareness about Epilepsy Action’s work to make a difference for people living with epilepsy
  • Supporting their fundraising team and ultimately helping to raise funds for the charity’s work
  • Actively engaging and building networks with local groups and associations in Northern Ireland

There will be flexibility so you can decide how you want to support and champion Epilepsy Action to really make a difference at the heart of your community!

**Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed by Epilepsy Action.  Training and support will be provided.

About the Organisation

Epilepsy Action is here because they believe that every person with epilepsy deserves to feel supported and reassured. No-one deserves to be alone and isolated.

Looking into the impact they are having across the UK helps them to see the crucial difference they are making, as well as showing the areas they can grow to support even more people.

Achieving measurable and meaningful impact is important, and they are continuing to grow their services in order to inspire everyone about the lives that are being transformed!
