About the Volunteer Opportunity
Our hub volunteer will gain a fantastic experience working in the disability sector with our wheelie active programme. The volunteer will be asked to commit to one evening a week assisting and leading sessions for kids with a physical disability. The volunteer will be put through full training, provided with free kit and travel expenses covered. The wheelie active club provides a variety of fun multi skill games and sports for the children each week during school term time.
About the Organisation
Disability Sport NI is a charity organisation that runs multiple programmes and events across district council areas. For these programmes to run successfully we rely on a pool of volunteers to help.
Disability Sport NI aims o develop sports and active recreation opportunities which give disabled people an equal opportunity to live a full, active and healthy lifestyle.
